Lily B's "My Everest" mountain climb was a triumph and success! Lily B, the Born to Prove team and supporters from far and near united to climb Camelback Mountain bringing awareness to Muscular Dystrophy and declaring March 6th as "Physical Independence Day."

Upon reaching her summit (2,000 feet elevation), Lily Brasch officially proclaimed March 6th “Physical Independence Day” by placing a banner in the ground.
Moving forward, Lily B hopes that we can universally observe March 6th as a day to celebrate the human spirit and recognize those who are dealing with physical conditions that strive to be independent, and appreciate those who are assisting them to achieve their goals. It is significant to note that Lily B has limited mobility and uses a wheelchair.
